When observing Luis C. Figueroa's work, I noticed his use of different organic forms to express the feelings and situations of life.

I particularly related to his work “No me deja ver nada” (He didn't let me see anything). It speaks to me of all those feelings that we cannot say, all that we do not allow ourselves to express but that we know is present.

​

 

Using this work as inspiration for my design, I created a texture with linen that represents all the accumulated feelings that cannot come out, but also showing with different shades and  shapes that I took from the artist's work how these feelings are still alive, present, and fighting to be expressed and seen.
